Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are and scope

This policy applies to BarTree on Android, iOS/iPadOS, macOS, and Windows. BarTree is developed by Quantify Nexus LLC, Pristina, Kosovo.

The hospitality business administers its staff, customer, and operational data; Quantify Nexus processes service data under the agreement and applicable law.

2. Information that may be processed

• Activation/licensing: device, POS, unit, company, and entitlement identifiers.
• Business/fiscal: identifier, VAT, address, operator, configuration, receipts, returns, cancellations, and reports.
• Staff: username, name, role, status, and local password/PIN hash; the Accountree password is not stored.
• Hospitality: tables, orders, articles, categories, quantities, prices, discounts, VAT, kitchen tickets, and service status.
• Delivery/take-away: name, phone, address, and notes only when entered to fulfil an order.
• Transactions: lines, payments, cash register, and audit data; not full card numbers/CVV.
• Secondary devices: ID/name, registration, sync state, and local-network technical data.
• Technical: version, network, sync time/status, errors, security attempts, and integrity data.

3. Sources and purposes

Information is entered by the business/staff, generated by the POS, or synchronized from Accountree, authorized devices, and fiscal services.

• Activation, authentication, and roles.
• Tables, orders, kitchen, delivery/take-away, customers, and cash register.
• Fiscalization, printing, reports, and audit.
• Cloud/local sync, user-initiated email, security, backup, and legal duties.

4. Permissions and local network

On Android, internet and network-state access are requested. With Primary/Secondary enabled, the primary device may listen for incoming local-network connections only from registered secondary devices; it is not a public server. Printing, scanners, export, and files are used only for user-initiated functions.

5. Data disclosure

• Accountree/Quantify Nexus API.
• Kosovo Tax Administration or configured fiscal service.
• Registered Primary/Secondary devices of the same business.
• Configured SMTP/email when a receipt/report is sent.
• Platform/hosting providers and authorities when legally required.

6. Advertising and sale of data

Quantify Nexus does not sell personal data or use targeted advertising. The current build has no advertising SDK or advertising ID. Future analytics will be disclosed before activation.

7. Storage, transfers, and security

BarTree is offline-first. Data is stored on business devices and selected data is synchronized over HTTPS or the authorized local network.

• Encrypted local database and secure storage.
• HTTPS and signed cloud requests.
• Secondary-device registration and authorization.
• Password/PIN hashing, roles, lockout, audit, and integrity controls.

8. Retention

Data is retained under the business policy. Fiscal, accounting, and audit data may be kept for the statutory period. Removing the app does not automatically delete synchronized copies, exports, or backups.

9. Access, correction, and deletion

For orders, staff, or customers, contact the business using BarTree. For Quantify Nexus service data, email [email protected]. Verification may be required; legally retained data cannot be deleted early.

10. Children, changes, and contact

BarTree is a business tool for authorized staff and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as features, providers, or law change. Contact: [email protected].
